- Voice Alert Help

This information applies to the following applications:

• YEmote2+
• Y-VoiceAlert

Problem:

"I don't hear any voice announcements when my friends log in and out on messenger or when I get a pm"

Solution:

• The most common cause is not having the text-to-speech components installed. Please download and install the following files:

Download the Microsoft SAPI 4.0a runtime binaries (824 KB exe)

Download the Microsoft Agent core components (395 KB exe)

Download the Speech Control Panel (927 KB exe)

• You then need to install a language pack; I would recommend the following:

Download Text-to-speech engine (2.5 MB exe)

• Now start-up YEmote2+ or Y-VoiceAlert and listen out :)
